Hello Kitty x Jujutsu Kaisen: The Cutest Collaboration Yet!

Hello Kitty x Jujutsu Kaisen: The Cutest Collaboration Yet! Hello Kitty is 50 and she’s celebrating with a ton of collaborations this year. From Junji Ito to Jujutsu Kaisen, Sanrio is showing us a side of Gege Akutami’s dark fantasy series we never knew we needed. A Halloween Treat Shōnen Jump’s Jujutsu Kaisen teamed up with Sanrio to release a line of merchandise. The collection features chibi versions of Jujutsu Kaisen’s main characters with Sanrio’s mascots. Just in time for Halloween, the items are available on Toho Animation’s online store and include stickers, hand towels, ballpoint pens with charms and more. Prices range from 440 to 880 yen. A Softer Jujutsu Kaisen Sanrio and Jujutsu Kaisen have collaborated before and each time it gets cuter. This time around it’s softer artwork and pastel colors, a whole new spin on Jujutsu Kaisen’s characters. The style makes the merchandise even more adorable for fans of both series. Mascots and Sorcerers As per the crossover theme, the Sanrio mascots are dressed to match their Jujutsu Kaisen partners. The collaboration includes 10 Jujutsu Kaisen characters and 12 Sanrio characters, with some fan favorites making a return: Sukuna is with Hello Kitty. Yuji is with Pochacco. Megumi is with Badtz Maru. Nobara is with My Melody. Gojo is with Cinnamoroll. Nanami is with Pompompurin. Geto is with Ruromanic, Mahito is with Little Twin Stars. And two new pairs: Todo is with Bonbonribbon, a nod to his love for Takada-chan. Choso is with Minna no Tabo, who looks great in Choso-inspired outfit. Opposites Attract Despite the contrast between Jujutsu Kaisen’s dark themes and Sanrio’s cute charm, this collaboration feels surprisingly natural. The chibi-ification of Jujutsu Kaisen characters is a nice change of pace, especially after the heavy Shibuya Arc. Opposites attract. Even the darkest of sorcerers can be cute. Sanrio and Jujutsu Kaisen do it again.

Deck Profile with Kevin @TTG (Profile, Pilot & Price Tag)

Top 20 WCQ Labrynth Deck Profile Kevin Tam, a YuGiOh Player from Vancouver placed in the Top 20 of the Burnaby Yu-Gi-Oh WCQ Tournament. Cardboard Kitchen has partnered with a local card shop in Richmond, The Trading Gallery, that hosts Yu-Gi-Oh OTS Tournaments, to do a deck profile on his winning Labrynth Deck.  You can watch the YouTube video, The Trading Gallery, posted on their channel here. Kevin Tam’s Deck List: Monsters: 2x Lady Labrynth Of The Silver Castle 1x Lovely Labrynth Of The Silver Castle 1x Arias The Labrynth Butler 3x Arianna The Labrynth Servant 1x Ariane The Labrynth Servant 2x Labrynth Cooclock 3x Labrynth Chandraglier 3x Labrynth Stovie Torbie 2x Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring 1x Droll & Lock Bird 1x Mulcharmy Purulia Spells: 3x Pot of Extravagance 1x Called By The Grave 1x Labrynth Labyrinth Traps: 3x Big Welcome Labrynth 2x Welcome Labrynth 2x Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon 3x Infinite Impermanence 2x Different Dimension Ground 2x Transaction Rollback 1x Dimensional Barrier 1x Simul Archfiends 1x Trap Trick 1x Ice Dragon’s Prison 1x Eradicator Epidemic Virus Extra Deck: 3x Muckraker From The Underworld 3x Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis 3x Chaos Angel 1x Underworld Goddess Of The Closed World 1x Dharc The Dark Charmer, Gloomy 1x Clara & Rushka, The Ventriloduo 1x S:P Little Knight 1x Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder 1x Number 41: Bagooska The Terribly Tired Tapir According to Kevin, his deck cost around $1700 at the time. Yu-Gi-Oh is known to be an expensive game but there are budget options, especially for the labrynth deck as with the new Yu-Gi-Oh tin, 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors, introducing some notable Labrynth reprints like Big Welcome Labyrinth and Arias the Labrynth Butler, this deck can be built for much cheaper. Here is a budget example of the deck https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/labrynth-526938 Deck Tips: Kevin’s goal when piloting this deck is to set up your board to play on the opponent's turn because all the Furniture Monsters are quick effects and Labrynth Cooclock and Arias the Labrynth Butler, make all the traps you set off their effects during the turn able to activate on the same turn. This gives you ample interruption on your opponent's turn.  Notable strategies Kevin mentions are using Dimensional Barrier, to stop ritual-reliant decks or decks that heavily rely on the extra deck. Simul Archfiend is used as a floodgate card to lock players into only one of each type of monster.  (pic of Dimensional barrier + Simul archfiend) Kevin suggests using Trap Trick, to search your deck for any of your trap cards to immediately place on the field by banishing a copy of it from your deck. Some search targets Kevin suggests are Durama Karma Cannon, to make the opponent's monsters face down so they can’t link summon using them, Different Dimension ground, Welcome Labrynth, Big Welcome, and Infinite Impermanence. Side Deck Suggestions: Kevin suggests Siding out Different Dimension Ground if the opponent is playing a Dimensional Shifter deck. If you are going second with this deck Kevin suggests Siding out Pot of Extravagance, called by the grave, 1x Arianna The Labrynth Servant, 1x Labrynth Torbie, and Different Dimension Ground and replacing them with various hand traps to combat the current format. Strong Matchups: Kevin says that playing against Tenpai, Runick stun, Branded Despia, Rogue decks, and a Labrynth mirror match are favorable matchups for him. Weak Matchups: Kevin says he had a hard time playing against Snake Eyes Fiend Smith and Chimera decks as they have a lot of cards that give them recursion. Basic Combo: Requirements in hand: Lady Labrynth Of The Silver Castle + Labrynth Cooclock + Welcome Labrynth (pic of lady, cooclock, and welcome) vSend Labrynth Cooclock using its effect. Activate the trigger effect of Lady Labrynth Of The Silver Castle, to special summon herself from the hand because a Labrynth monster effect was activated. Set Welcome Labrynth, face down, and end your turn. During the opponent's Standby Phase activate the set Welcome Labrynth, then chain Lady Labrynth Of The Silver Castle effect to set a trap card from your deck to the field. vvResolve the chain, Lady Labrynth Of The Silver Castle will set a trap card from your deck, then Welcome Labrynth will special summon Arianna The Labrynth Servant from the deck to your field. Arianna The Labrynth Servant trigger effect, when special summoned you can search your deck for a Labrynth monster to add to your hand, add Labrynth Stovie Torbie to your hand. Use Labrynth Stovie Torbie effect to send itself and a trap card from your hand to set a trap card from the deck to your field, set Labrynth Big Welcome from the deck to the field. Labrynth Cooclock effect will trigger allowing you to add itself from the graveyard back to your hand. Published by: Cardbored Kitchen
